This world has long known about the presence of supernatural creatures, particularly the races that have coexisted for thousands and thousands of years. These races have long fought against each other, but humans have always come out the victor.
But Elves turned the tides. Now they stand to show that Humans do not have supreme dominance as the greatest race on earth. The world is at a crossroads: who will become the new supreme race? The immortal, beautiful Elves? The Mysterious and powerful Royals? The subservient and passionate Weavers? The bizarre and incredible Cerberus? The deadly, evil Jesters? Or will the strange and ever-changing Humans take back the title was once considered rightfully theirs?
It has been several hundred years since all of mankind was enslaved by elves. Bred as a prime source of food, the human population has dwindled to several million: enough to feed the cities, yet enough to be controlled.
Elves and Royals are standing on the edge of their own sword. An age old rivalry has taken to drastic measures as both species fight for dominance. Royals, for they see themselves as divine and superior, and Elves, for they see themselves as the top of the food chain now. As cities fall on all continents to each side, other creatures, such as the Cerberus and the Jesters are pushed to the edges of the earth to harbor their own grudges and plot their own uprisings.

The World is a different kind of Earth, an Earth much like ours, almost a parallel world you could say. Only, our Earth never existed. Only theirs.
The world, like ours, has all climates and all animal species. The major difference is how the continents are structured. There are three major continents, also known as kingdoms: Silvaer, Aurumen, and Cuprumbria. There is an island continent called Ferrous (much like Australia), but it is quite an uninhabitable place.
The world's technology is rather advanced, about as advanced as our own with the addition of more intelligent and reliable computers, electric swords, greater machines and weapons of warfare, and the discovery of a substance called continumerrous has solved energy issues related to coal, fossil fuels, and nuclear power.

The races of this world are a combination of races you may have heard of before in mythology and fantasy with very drastic tweaks that make them more original.
Elves are currently the supreme race though they are in heavy competition with the Royals. Elves are of Peter Jackson's design, being all ephemeral and divine as well as having J.R.Tolkein's human size. Contrary to popular legend, these are malevolent beings as well as carnivorous. They prey on flesh, though very few will actually eat it raw. Their favorite meal is Human.
Royals are an original race of god-like beings who come in all different appearances so long as they are generally humanoid. They are neutral in every sense of the word and can appear emotionless especially in a public environment. Alone or with those they trust, they do have different behaviours. Royals are generally looked up to and feared as if they were gods.
Weavers are human creatures that manipulate the elements. The elements may refer to anything, from simply fire and water to things like acid, lava, and smoke. Weavers were once a passionate and esteemed people till the humans began undermining them and manipulating them for their own purposes. The race as a whole are now servants to the Royals.
Cerberus are strange beings, each compromised of a single person divided into three parts. Essentially, there are three people connected mentally and somewhat physically. Imagine them to be like the Cerberus of mythology: a single dog with three heads, each head thinking and feeling and acting for itself but part of a main body. Such is how the Cerberus of this world functions.
Jesters are the evil, demonic race, created from Weavers who were pushed beyond the brink of sanity and traded their very souls for the worst of all magics: voodoo. They were created by Humans, but they treat all equally: anyone and everyone, even other Jesters, are their victims.
Humans are the most numerous of all species but they are no longer supreme. They were overtaken in the war between the Elves and Humans. The Elves enslaved them all and put them into factories to be bred and processed as their food source. Some humans have escaped and seek to bring down the other races, but these are very few and far between.
(Royals and Jesters are currently non-playable)

There is a vast amount of roles that can be filled and occupations to take within the enormous world. Things from Kings and Queens, to airship captains and submarine technicians, to spacecraft builders and robot cafe waiters, to bards and rogues and wandering samurai.
Although everyone would love to place their character in the roles of assassin or Royal Bodygaurd, the not-so-ordinary and not-so-extravagant roles can open up a wide range of possibilities. Think carefully on which role might be good for your character.
On another note, if too many people join as soldiers and assassins and what not, your positions will eventually be denied. If you are never sure on a position, or you have an idea on a radical idea for a role, talk to Niitari first.

Plot is fueled by two things: the owner's will and the will of the members.
Unlike other sites where the owner has a plot set in stone and varied "plot positions" that the members can choose to fill in, everything is ever changing and both owner and member driven.
There are three different types of plot: Major Plot; which will affect the entire site (ie, a war, a plague, etc), Mini Plots; which involves small things that only affect different areas and different people can choose to take part in when they're bored (ie: death of a noble, shortage of food in one city, etc) and Character Plot; plots that specifically affect certain characters.
Major Plot
The major plot is the entire encompassing plot that is affecting the entire site. It may be a war, a kingdom-wide famine, an uprising, a catastrophe, etc. The point is, this plot is big and usually bad. Whatever happens in the Major Plot will affect everyone and everything.
In the beginning, the owner will say what the plot is: ie; Amderarm goes to war with Ko-goro.
As rp moves along, different things will start to happen. Characters will be recruited or will volunteer in the different armies.Perhaps conflicting views will tear a family apart.
But then, members will have the chance to change the direction the plot is heading.
Perhaps one character approaches the King with a peaceful alternative to war and the two Kings come to an agreement. Or perhaps a pissed off farmer starts burning fields of crops and blames it on the King's men, causing a riot. Maybe an assassin gets to Amderarm's King before the war even begins and now there's chaos.
Depending on how members react, the major plot will be altered.
Do note that you are not allowed to change the plot beyond recognition. If the plot is that Amderarm and Ko-goro are at war, you may not suddenly say that there is a prophecy about your character that demands your character wipe out both armies, unite the cities, and become the self-proclaimed King. That's just not going to happen.
To avoid this, let Niitari know what you plan on doing before you do it. Even if it's weeks in advance. All ideas will be taken into account, and the majority of them will be accepted.
Depending on how members change the plot will then determine what the next plot is going to be.
Mini Plots
Mini Plots are mostly put up on the plots page as ideas on how to keep characters busy. Some of them will have to do with the major plot or character plot, some will just be random little things for your character to do that you can take either way. For example: a kidnapping. You could decide (after discussing with Niitari) that your prince character from Amderarm is kidnapped by soldiers from Ko-goro, and this will have an affect on the war between the countries. Or maybe it starts the war between countries. Or maybe, your character was kidnapped by the strange black-clad Weavers his father has been warning him about for years. This could further your character's history development as he learns why he has been warned about them.
Mini Plots can go any way, but do be sure to let Niitari know your plans.
Character Plots
Character plots are specifically designed by Niitari or by you to further your own character's development and past history. You can go about it multiple ways.
First: you can tell Niitari outright what you want to do. Like the kidnapping scenario above. Just tell Niitari that you want your character kidnapped by a mysterious group of black-clad Weavers, and Niitari will make it happen.
Second: you can tell Niitari straight out what you want to happen, but don't give Niitari any details. Say that: I want my character kidnapped by some strange people because his father's been warning him about them for years." This gives Niitari much more to work with and could possibly get you implemented into major plots or even cause the beginning of new major plots. Perhaps your character was kidnapped by a group of blood-drinking cultists dead set on sacrificing your character to their unknown god, and now a group of hackers need to rescue your character.
Granted, not everything that happens to your character will go the way you want it to, but that is typical real life for you.
And just as you can tell Niitari what you want to happen, so you can let Niitari know what you don't want to happen. Maybe you don't want your character to be kidnapped by cultists. Maybe just kidnapped by the eccentric neighbor next door or a bunch of bullies decided to pull a prank. Maybe you don't want to be rescued. Maybe your character just escapes, and goes on living their life in a traumatic state where they're paranoid of the color black and anything to do with Weavers.
Remember: when it comes to plot, let Niitari know your intentions so we can avoid nasty shocks in the end. This doesn't mean you cannot do anything, just anything you think will be big or rather altering to you or others should be reported.

This is an advanced roleplay site. If you don't know what that means, here's a few tips:
Use quotation marks. Do NOT use asterisks.
Roleplay everything in third person.
No emoticons or text talk in the middle of roleplay. Ie: :) :D >.< :P lol omg
Use proper spelling and grammar.
Make posts detailed.
